Shell Shock - What you need to know
There is speculation that Shellshock, the latest vulnerability in a long line of major discoveries, will be more catastrophic than Heartbleed. Like the much publicized OpenSSL vulnerability, we won't know the full extent of its impact for some time. However, we do know that it has the potential to create a long lasting impact for those that aren't able to find and fix the thousands of forgotten, third-party and legacy applications that are so often left unpatched.
