Registration Information
How to register:
- Everyone must complete the on-line registration form.
(We do not take registrations by phone.)
- We do this to ensure the accuracy of your information.
(You know your information better then we do.)
- Because each on-line registration creates an individual user account, each individual within a group must complete a separate registration form.
- Even if you do not want to submit your payment information on-line,
still complete the on-line form.
- There is an option to submit Credit Card information for payment
by fax OR phone once the on-line form is completed and you have your
invoice number.
- SANS ONLY ACCEPTS US & CANADIAN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASE ORDERS. If you
normally use a PO, and are not part of the federal government,
please see our additional PO information
on the Tuition Information page.
- You must print YOUR OWN INVOICE at the end of
the on-line registration process, if you need one. To print the invoice, click the button "DISPLAY INVOICE PAGE FOR PRINTING" on the third page of the registration form.
An immediate e-mail confirmation is
sent to you when the registration is submitted properly. If you have not
received e-mail confirmation within two business days of registering, please
e-mail us at mentor@sans.org.

Group Discounts:
SANS Local Mentor Program is pleased to offer two (2) or more Students who work at the same organization, a Group Discount tuition fee. To obtain the Group Discount fee and Registration Code offered for this course, contact mentor@sans.org PRIOR to registering and provide the names and e-mail addresses of all the students registering within your organization.
All registrations using discount codes will be verified 48 hours after code is issued. Those using a code that does not meet the required group level will be subject to the fee difference between their discount registration and the discount level they meet.
To register with a discount you must:
- Obtain a discount code BEFORE
you register. Codes cannot be applied to your account after registration is completed.
- Use the discount code on the registration form.
- All group discount registrations MUST arrive in ON THE SAME DAY or the discount
will NOT apply. Discounts are NOT retroactive.
***Only one discount may be used per customer per registration/order.
Discounts may not overlap. If you are eligible for more than one
discount, we will apply the discount of the largest percentage.
If you must substitute / cancel:
MENTOR TRAINING
If you wish to cancel and have not yet started the course, you may substitute another person in your place by e-mailing tuition@sans.org. The deadlines for completing the course remain the same.
If you have no one to replace you, you may request a refund. Your request must be in writing and sent to:

If you have already started the course, your request must be reviewed. If you have already downloaded the course material, no refund or substitution can be made.
