The SANS Academy Cup Tournament will run on consecutive evenings, 27-28 March 2024, from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM Eastern at SANS Orlando 2024. This event will be In-Person only.
An Academy Cup Welcome Reception for all participants and observers will be In-Person before the tournament begins on Wednesday, 27 March 2024, at 5:00 PM Eastern. The reception will feature a special speaker and will serve as an orientation and kick-off to begin the tournament.
An Academy Cup Awards Reception for all participants and observers will follow the conclusion of the tournament on Thursday, 28 March 2024, around 9:30 PM Eastern. The reception will feature a special speaker and we will announce the winning academy.

The winners of this tournament will have their names and team name engraved on the NetWars Academy Cup traveling trophy. The engraved trophy will be shipped to the location of the winning team's college for display.
2023 SANS NetWars Academy Cup
Congratulations to the US Air Force Academy who won a hard-fought cyber NetWars range competition on 22-23 March, 2023. The SANS Institute is proud to have hosted the 5th Annual SANS NetWars Academy Services Cup Tournament 2023. The annual SANS NetWars Academy Cup Tournament is a unique event tailored exclusively to cadets and mid-shipmen at the US Service Academies (USMA, USAFA, USNA, USCGA). Each year, SANS invites a five-member team from each of the Academies to represent their school. The winner gets their names engraved on a “traveling trophy” that they can display for a year until the next year’s competition.

USAFA wins SANS Academy Cup (and overall) in Orlando, FL
Congratulations to the US Air Force Academy for wining the 6th Annual "SANS Academy Cup competiation" in Orlando, FL, on 28 March 2024. Each Academy Team consisted of 5 students, all competing for the coveted traveling SANS NetWars Trophy. USAFA finished first in two categories: Academy and Overall.
