BETHESDA, MD, December 12, 2022 – Students from the SANS Technology Institute (SANS.edu), one of the nation’s largest cybersecurity programs and the only college focused solely on cybersecurity, finished in the Top 10 out of 445 schools that participated in the National Security Agency’s Codebreaker Challenge 2022.
The Top 10 finish comes in a year in which the SANS.edu Sentinels also earned the #1 Power Ranking at the spring National Cyber League (NCL) competition and the #2 Power Ranking at the fall 2022 NCL competition.
“I’m so proud of everything our SANS.edu Sentinels teams have achieved this year,” said Ed Skoudis, President of the SANS Technology Institute. “These competitions showcase our students’ ability to handle the challenges they’ll face in the real world. I’m particularly impressed that our undergraduate and graduate students have worked together to achieve such remarkable results.”
