Désiré Banse

Désiré Banse is the Manager of Security Operations at IdeaCrew where he helps provide end-to-end solutions for cloud-based platforms that serve diverse clients and industries. Désiré has over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on security, scalability, and performance. He holds a master's degree in software engineering and skills in drones, AWS, platform engineering, and efficient delivery of solutions.

Désiré is a former researcher at NIST, AI, Computer Vision, UAS and is a  Drones Leader, Speaker, and Innovator. He has authored numerous articles on topics ranging from NIST language recognition evaluations to i-Vector machine learning to internet connectivity in Africa. He is passionate about designing and architecting systems that solve complex problems and meet user needs, and holds a unique perspective on standards and their reference and actual implementation in the enterprise.
