Ilia Kolochenko

Dr. Ilia Kolochenko a Swiss cybersecurity expert and a lawyer in Washington, DC. He frequently talks to CISOs and other executives about complex questions of cybersecurity, data protection and privacy law including data breach investigation and prosecution, cybersecurity insurance, liability of vendors and cybersecurity executives.

Dr. Ilia Kolochenko is member of several special interest groups, such as Europol EDEN and INTERPOL DFEG, as well as a Member of Appeals Board at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the Chair of Cybercrime Committee at the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). Holding many GIAC and IAPP certifications, Dr. Ilia Kolochenko teaches “Cybersecurity for Lawyers and Law Firms” CLE course at the DC Bar. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity Practice & Cyber Law at Capitol Technology University and a Member of Cybercrime Investigation & Cybersecurity Center at Boston University.
