Joshua Pena

Joshua Pena currently serves as the Principal Security Architect for Q2, a leading financial services software provider headquartered in Austin, TX. In his role, Joshua drives the technical cybersecurity strategy towards secure innovation in shared partnership with Q2’s business leaders and customers. He has a passion for positioning security as a differentiator for Q2 and aligning the right technology partners to compound team effectiveness. 

Prior to Q2, Joshua was the technical lead for Forcepoint’s internal security program, architecting numerous key initiatives while providing thought leadership to security product teams as part of a customer zero program. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his kids, coding, and giving back to the community. He recently joined Q2’s Philanthropy Fund Committee as a way to contribute more directly to the communities surrounding Q2.
