Michael is a cybersecurity engineer at AWS. Michael has over 13 years industry experience and has worked in organizations including the U.S. Army Cyber Protection Brigade, Army Cyber Command, and MITRE. Michael has contributed to open source projects including the MITRE ATT&CK Framework(R), Metasploit, and he maintains the Offensive GoLang project. Michael has a M.S. in Information Security Engineering with SANS Technology Institute, and is presently working on his Ph.D. in Cyber Operations with Dakota State University.
