Previously, he founded a successful startup - UnderDefense, where he built a new generation MDR/SOC as a service platform to automate incident response, thereby minimizing Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR). This platform empowered security teams to isolate threats right from their preferred communication tools, such as Slack and Teams. His award-winning CSIRT team consistently ranked among the Top 10 in the Boss of the SOC competition for five years.
Nazar holds a Ph.D. from Lviv Polytechnic with a thesis about hypervisor based syscalls interception to track adversaries and malware in highly interactive honeypots. He has worked as an associate professor, teaching Network and Web Security. He has also served as a lecturer at Lviv IT School.
