Sean currently serves as the Global Leader for Cybersecurity Software at WTW, a world leader in insurance brokering and consulting. He previously held senior roles in multiple venture back start ups and at BP, the world leading energy company.
In government, Sean served at the U.S. Department of Energy as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response. Here he led energy sector engagement, preparedness and response activities and research development to better protect the U.S. energy infrastructure.
Earlier, Sean worked for the National Security Council as the Director for Maritime and Pacific Cybersecurity Policy, where he co-authored the National Maritime Cybersecurity Plan and multiple Presidential Directives on Offensive Cyberspace Operations signed by the President.
Sean is a veteran, serving after twenty one years in the Pennsylvania National Guard and U.S. Coast Guard, including providing cybersecurity leadership at the U.S Cyber Command and deployed with US Forces Afghanistan. Sean has a Masters of Science, Computers and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
