The topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been dominating most cybersecurity conferences lately, but with few opportunities for hands-on, actionable learning. The SANS AI Summit aims to change that. The Summit will feature interactive workshops and live demonstrations, offering practical approaches to incorporating AI and Machine Learning (ML) into your daily cybersecurity tasks, making them more efficient, accurate, and effective. You'll leave with real-world skills and techniques you can immediately apply in your work.

Day 1 | Monday, March 31: Applying AI in Cybersecurity

On Day 1, you will learn how to use AI in your cybersecurity work today through focused talks and workshops on applying AI and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to enhance cybersecurity-related job roles. Talks and workshops will cover genAI or ML enhanced Incident Response, Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, and Vulnerability Assessment and Exploitation techniques.

Day 2 | Tuesday, April 1: Defending and Attacking AI Implementations

On Day 2, you will learn how to defend and attack AI implementations in organizations. We will delve into the intricacies of exploiting and defending against the vulnerabilities of LLMs and genAI solutions. Specifically, we will explore the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by attackers to compromise LLMs and genAI models and the countermeasures and defensive strategies organizations can employ to mitigate these risks with presentations and panels.

You will gain useful insights, strategies, practical solutions, and use cases that will help you to enhance your understanding and skills to keep up with this fast-changing technological landscape.

SANS North America Summits Volunteer Program

The SANS North America Summit Volunteer Program is a popular and competitive way for professionals to attend two-day SANS Summits in-person for free, in exchange for their assistance with the Summit. Summit Volunteers assist the team onsite with various tasks to set up, support, and tear down the event afterward.
